Jessica's Fund

Last July, Jessica Ghawi moved from San Antonio to Denver to pursue her dream of being a sportscaster. She had a passion for sports and for life that simply could not be contained. Her vibrant and vivacious personality endeared her to everyone she met, as she barreled down the path of life, arms wide open, living life to the fullest.

In pursuit of her dreams, Jessica interned at KABB Maximum Sports and Ticket 760-AM in San Antonio, and also for Fox 31 in Denver. She was a National Hockey League Blogger for the sports website Busted Coverage and an avid Tweeter. Throughout her professional life, Jessica used the pen name Redfield in honor of her grandmother who had always wanted to be a journalist.

A scholarship fund has been set up in Jessica’s name and all proceeds will benefit The Jessica Redfield Ghawi Memorial Fund. Donations can be made at any Generations Federal Credit Union location, and also through this website via Paypal.
