Clay Shoot Pull for the Children

The #GFCUCares Team had a fantastic Friday at the Clay Shoot Pull for the Children where 100% of the proceeds went to benefit the children of Boysville, Inc. Our VP of Member Engagement is Boysville Board Secretary, and we’re honored to help support their mission to provide a safe family environment for children in need. #MakingWaves

 

 

 

Box of Dreams School Supply Distribution

The #GFCUCares Team has been making waves distributing school supplies with The TEXAS YES Project Box of Dreams program. This initiative brought immense joy to our team and hundreds of kids in Title One schools around our city. #GFCUCares #MakingWaves #TexasYES #SchoolSupplies

 

 

 

Latinas Con Fuerza

On August 21st, we had the pleasure of celebrating “Latinas Con Fuerza” at the South Texas Business Partnership luncheon. It was an honor to recognize Latinas who are making a difference, both here on the south side of San Antonio and around the world! Our VP, Jessica Hernandez, sits on the Board of South Texas Business Partnership. Credit Unions 4 Kids Golf Tournament

The #GFCUCares Team teed up to support Credit Unions 4 Kids and the Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals at Canyon Springs Golf Club yesterday. CU4Kids is a cooperative network of credit unions supporting nonprofit children’s hospitals, with proceeds benefiting children right here in our community. Stuff The Bus SA Donation

Kids are heading back to the classroom, with many in need of school supplies. The #GFCUCares Team delivered 4,121 items for Communities In Schools of San Antonio #StuffTheBUSSA program this year, plus a $3,580 donation! VP, Brent Mora, sits on the board of Communities in Schools of San Antonio which helps provide basic needs, academic assistance, life skills and so much more to schools in the #SanAntonio area.
