This event honored members of our community who have been true supporters of this amazing non-profit. Legion Post 828 Back to School EventWe are so glad we got to join American Legion Post No. 828 at their back-to-school event last week! Their organization collected school supplies for kids at Gates Elementary School, and hair stylists from the community volunteered their time to give kids from Pre-K to 8th grade fresh hair cuts before the school year begins.

Our McCreless Branch Manager Teresa Ramirez and Service Specialist II Tiffany Medellin attended the event and enjoyed meeting with American Legion Post No. 828’s President Ethel Washington. Our team members were able to provide free pizza to attendees and enjoyed meeting with families in the community.

Thank you for all you do for our community, Ms. Washington and everyone at American Legion Post No. 828! And our best wishes to all of the students who are starting their new school year!
