Turkey Express Police DayThank you San Antonio Police Department and Bexar County Sheriff’s Office for being on duty on Thanksgiving Day so that we can enjoy the holiday safely with loved ones. We truly appreciate all that you do for our community! We enjoyed delivering freshly cooked turkeys and side dishes to your offices. And kudos to Iron Q Barbeque & Catering for supporting our officers and sheriff’s deputies by cooking the delicious turkeys!

Blue Santa Golf TournamentWe had a great time at the 28th Annual Blue Santa Golf Tournament, organized by Blue Cares SAPOA Outreach! Generations was happy to be an Eagle Sponsor to help support the Blue Cares community outreach program, which provides year-round service and assistance to underprivileged, low-income, and at-risk children and their families. San Antonio Fire Design AwardsBig congratulations to Ashley Latsha from Taft High School and Nicholas Wolf from Harlan High School on their award-winning fire safety posters! These talented students submitted their artwork to the San Antonio Fire Department‘s Community and Safety Team and were recognized for their poster design and message. Turkey Express 2019Another Turkey Express in the bag! We had such a wonderful time delivering turkeys to the firefighters of San Antonio. Our sincerest thanks to the men and women who will be spending their Thanksgiving keeping our city safe while the rest of us enjoy our holiday meals with loved ones. Recosa - Retired Employees of the City of San AntonioIt was great seeing our core members at the annual Recosa – Retired Employees of the City of San Antonio luncheon! Congratulations to our gift card winners at the event, Anthony Pizzi and Nicholas Mendez. Both Mr. Pizzi and Mr. Mendez have been long-time members of our credit union, since its days as San Antonio City Employees FCU. Thank you Mr. Pizzi and Mr. Mendez for your membership and loyalty! RECOSA seeks to inform, educate, and foster camaraderie among the City of San Antonio’s retiree community. Generations Board Member Rose Rangel serves on the board for RECOSA and also attended the luncheon.

Blue Santa Blue Cares Gift WrappingOur hearts are full after wrapping gifts for San Antonio children! Generations is once again partnering with our friends at Blue Cares SAPOA Outreach to help bring a little joy to families in need this Christmas. You can help too by dropping off toys and gifts at any Generations location. We need new, unopened toys for all ages, including children older than age 10. Please consider helping however you can!

Core4 STEM SA
We had such a great time with the students at #Core4STEM event hosted by the San Antonio Hispanic Chamber of Commerce! We got to play a life-size “Game of Life” as part of a financial education component to help students better understand the complexities of personal finance.
