Generations Federal Credit Union Unveils New Emergency Vehicle for the American Red Cross - San Antonio

The new vehicle was made possible through a $30,000 donation by the local credit union.

SAN ANTONIO, TEXAS – JULY 1, 2021 – Generations Federal Credit Union (GFCU) proudly unveiled a new emergency vehicle for the American Red Cross – San Antonio Chapter on Wednesday, June 30 at their St. Mary’s branch location (1828 N St Mary’s St, 78212). The new emergency vehicle was made possible through a $30,000 donation made by GFCU in March 2021.

Generations Federal Credit Union’s new community emergency vehicle will help the American Red Cross transport disaster supplies, comfort kits, hygiene products, as well as volunteer response teams to disaster locations, large and small, throughout the central and south Texas region.

In attendance at the unveiling were Generations Federal Credit Union CEO Ken Raymie, Generations Federal Credit Union CFO Geraldine Breeding, who also sits on the Board of Directors for the American Red Cross, American Red Cross Executive Director Michael Vela and Vice Chair Jonathan Tijerina.
