Siclovia 2022
Our team had a blast attending Siclovia on Mar 27. Siclovia is a family-friendly event hosted by the YMCA of Greater San Antonio, which encourages the community to come out and walk, bike, run and play in the street. Our team handed out paletas and sold Fiesta Medals to benefit the Children’s Hospital of San Antonio. We’re always proud to participate in this event that promotes family, fun and health. #GFCUCares
Generations Mobile Blood Drive
On Thursday, March 24th, GFCU hosted a Mobile Blood Drive benefitting the South Texas Blood and Tissue Center. Our amazing employees and members gave the gift of life on this day as we came together to donate. #GiveHopeGiveBlood #GFCUCares

Annual Big Bowlowski Fundraiser
When it comes to fundraising for workforce development programs, we always have time to SPARE. The South Texas Business Partnership and City South Leadership Academy’s annual Big Bowlowski fundraiser helps fund workforce development programs on the Southside. We had a blast supporting their mission on March 6th as our GFCU team participated in this team-building event for a great cause.
Employee Appreciation Day Celebration
GFCU would not be the credit union it is today if it were not for our dedicated employees. The culture they have built with focus on family is an enormous part of the service that is provided to our members and San Antonio community. On Mar. 1 we came together to provide nearly 200 employees with lunch, goodies, and more in celebration of Employee Appreciation Day. We were honored to bring our employees together on this occasion to express our gratitude for their outstanding work and continued commitment to the Credit Union and our members. Special thanks to the San Antonio Police Officer’s Association for coming out to cook lunch for us!
