Important Notice: Change to Account Benefits 

Generations FCU Visa® Debit Card Rewards Will End July 31, 2026 

The Visa® Debit Card Rewards Program associated with MyAdvantage and MyAdvantage Plus Checking Accounts will be discontinued effective July 31, 2026. This change impacts your ability to earn rewards points through debit card transactions. 

July 31, 2026 is the final day to earn points through this program. Be sure to redeem them by November 30, 2026. Points not redeemed by this date will expire. Redemptions are available through online banking or the mobile app. 

We seek to continuously improve the value we offer our members by focusing on benefits and services that provide everyday convenience, protection, and savings. MyAdvantage Checking Accounts now include benefits such as Roadside Assistance and Telehealth access. As our products and services continue to evolve, our debit card rewards program is being retired. 

What Members Need to Know 

  • Debit card rewards points can be earned through July 31, 2026. 
  • Eligible points can be redeemed through November 30, 2026. 
  • Points not redeemed by November 30, 2026, will expire and cannot be reinstated. 
  • Most rewards options begin at $25 (2,500 points) and include Cash Back, Gift Cards, and Merchandise Rewards. 
  • There will be no interruption to the Visa® Rewards Credit Card program, or to $hopping Rewards™ available through MyAdvantage Checking and MyAdvantage Plus Checking. 

Keep the Card Rewards Coming 

Want to keep earning rewards for your card transactions? Members can continue earning points with a Generations FCU consumer credit card. Members who do not currently have a Generations FCU Visa® Rewards Credit Card are welcome to apply at mygenfcu.org/generations-rewards-visa.
