Mark Johnston
Senior Vice President/Chief Lending Officer
<p>Mark Johnston serves as Senior Vice President and Chief Lending Officer, managing the day-to-day operations of the Commercial Services Department, to include business development and loan/credit administration. Prior to joining GFCU, Mark served as Vice President, Relationship Manager at Chase and as Vice President of Corporate Lending at TransPecos Banks. He brings 14 years of experience in commercial lending to the credit union. Mark earned his B.B.A. in Finance from Texas State University and is an active member of their Finance and Economics Advisory Board. He also sits on the board of the Green Spaces Alliance of South Texas and is a graduate of Leadership San Antonio Class 46.</p>
Joe Wood
Senior Commercial Relationship Manager
<p>Joe Wood joined Generations in November 2023 as Senior Commercial Relationship Manager. In his role, he oversees the development of new commercial business at the credit union, serves as point of contact for existing commercial members, and facilitates commercial loan analysis, documentation, and closings. Joe has previously served as Correspondent Banking Analyst with Frost Bank and a Commercial Loan Officer with Schertz Bank & Trust. He has a B.B.A. in Finance with emphasis in Real Estate from Texas Tech University, and he regularly volunteers with the San Antonio Food Bank.</p>
Cassian Flores
Commercial Operations Manager
<p>Cassian Flores serves as Commercial Operations Manager for Generations. In this role, he oversees all commercial underwriting and Loan Administration. Cassian joined GFCU in 2019 and previously held the role of Senior Commercial Relationship Manager. Prior to joining GFCU, Cassian served as Commercial Loan Officer at Randolph-Brooks FCU and as Vice President, Relationship Manager at Chase. He brings over 17 years of experience in commercial lending to the credit union. Cassian earned his B.B.A. in Finance from The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley. Additionally, Cassian serves on the San Antonio Better Business Bureau Advisory Committee and is an avid volunteer for the Texas Ramp Project.</p>
Joshua L. Roberts
Commercial Loan Administration Manager
<p>Joshua Roberts has served as Generations’ Commercial Loan Administration Manager since August of 2018. In his role with the credit union, Joshua oversees all commercial loan administration tasks, processes, procedures and reporting. He has more than 10 years of banking experience, previously holding roles in loan administration for Lone Star Capital Bank and TransPecos Banks, SSB. Joshua has also worked in consumer lending at Wells Fargo and call center management at Wachovia Bank. He holds an AA in Liberal Arts and General Studies from St. Philip’s College.</p>
Ernest Stephenson
Commercial Portfolio Manager
<p>Ernest Stephenson joined the credit union in October of 2019 as the Commercial Portfolio Manager. In his role, he is responsible for underwriting commercial loan applications and monitoring the commercial loan portfolio. Ernest was previously a Credit Analyst with Vantage Bank before joining Generations. He holds two BA degrees in Mathematics and Economics from Texas Lutheran University, as well as an MS in Finance from Texas A&M University. Ernest also sits on the board for the San Antonio chapter of RMA Young Professionals.</p>
Sandra Landeros
Commercial Loan Administration Associate ll
<p>Sandra Landeros joined Generations in August of 2023 as a Commercial Loan Administration Associate. In her role, she manages all aspects of commercial loan booking, funding, processing and closing. Sandra brings more than 12 years of commercial lending experience to Generations, having previously held positions in commercial loan administration at Frost Bank and Security Service FCU. She enjoys volunteering with several local organizations, including the San Antonio Food Bank, Morgan’s Wonderland, the Special Olympics, Habitat for Humanity and Ronald McDonald House Charities.</p>
Jose M. Rangel
Commercial Loan Administration Associate II
<p>Jose Rangel joined the credit union in March of 2018 as Commercial Loan Administration Associate. He has more than 18 years of experience in loan operations, having worked for Allegiance Bank, Zions Bancorporation and Chase Bank previously. In his role with Generations, Jose manages all aspects of commercial loan booking, funding, collateral perfection, processing and closing. He works with members and the credit union to clear loan approval conditions, open title for real estate closings, order appraisals, order environmental and flood reports, conduct collateral tracking and process loan payments and payoffs. Jose volunteers with Habitat for Humanity and his church.</p> <p> </p>
Juan Trejo
Commercial Credit Analyst II
<p>Juan Trejo has served as Commercial Credit Analyst for Generations since October of 2019. In this role, he reviews and analyzes commercial borrowers’ credit, to include financial statements, tax returns, historical operating performance and future plans, among other factors. Juan has been with Generations since 2012, serving in a number of consumer and commercial positions both in-branch and in support departments. He holds an AA in Accounting from San Antonio College and will graduate with a BBA in Accounting from the University of the Incarnate Word in December of 2019. Juan is also a regular volunteer with the San Antonio Food Bank.</p>
Jordan Cannon
Commercial Credit Analyst
<p>Jordan Cannon has served as a Commercial Credit Analyst since January 2022. In her role, she reviews commercial loan applications, including the analysis of supporting documentation such as financial statements, borrower credit, biographical company data, and industry/market conditions. Jordan has been with Generations since June of 2019 when she joined the Commercial Services team as an intern. She holds a BBA in Business Management from Texas Tech University. Jordan volunteers with the Garrison Geriatric Education and Care Center in Lubbock, TX and is also involved with the Alpha Phi sorority at Texas Tech University.</p>
