Siclovia 2026
In April, we proudly participated in the YMCA’s Siclovia event, where city streets were transformed into car-free spaces for families and community members to enjoy biking, skating, jogging, and other wheel-powered activities. Our team welcomed attendees with refreshing paletas while connecting with the community and sharing information about GFCU. We were also grateful to partner with Blue Cares and the San Antonio Fire Department, who helped create a fun and inviting atmosphere by serving delicious food throughout the day.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Haven for Hope Hygiene Product Drive
Earlier this year, the GFCUCares Team launched a Hygiene Product Drive across all branch locations to support Haven for Hope and help meet the needs of individuals experiencing homelessness in our community. Thanks to the generosity of our members, employees, and community supporters, we collected an incredible 2,491 hygiene items throughout the drive. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Corporate Cup 2026
GFCU proudly swept Division 4 at this year’s San Antonio Sports Corporate Cup, earning 1st Place in the Charity Challenge, Tailgate Competition, and Overall Division 4 standings. These achievements were made possible through the incredible dedication, teamwork, and generosity of our employees, who came together to support a great cause while representing GFCU with pride. More than just a competition, the Corporate Cup provided an opportunity for our team to give back to the community, strengthen relationships, and demonstrate the values that define GFCU.

 

 

 
 
 
 
 

Boysville June Birthday Celebration
The GFCUCares Team had a wonderful time celebrating June birthdays with the children at Boysville. The day was filled with fun activities and plenty of laughter, creating special memories for everyone involved. A special thank you to our community partners at Blue Cares for firing up the grill and serving delicious burgers and sides that helped make the celebration even more memorable. We are grateful for opportunities like these to support Boysville’s mission of providing a safe, nurturing environment where children and young adults can grow, thrive, and succeed.
