Brooks Gives Back: 4th Annual Dia de los Muertos Gala fundraiser

On Friday, October 28th, our team attended the 4th annual Dia de los Muertos Gala fundraiser for Brooks Gives Back. Guest speaker Jesse Borrego described the tradition of this celebration while a community altar beautifully displayed photos to honor those that have passed. Brooks Gives Back raises funds through signature events on the Brooks campus which directly impacts the youth, seniors, and families in the community. #GFCU is a proud supporter of our partners at Brooks. #GFCUCares #LiveBrooks #SanAntonio #DiaDeLosMuertos

The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society’s Light the Night

#GFCUCares raised $20,000 in donations for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society Central Texas, thanks to the #GENerosity of our teams, members, friends, and family! We joined thousands of our neighbors at the annual #LLS #LightTheNightWalk this past weekend in bringing light to the darkness of cancer. Our team members celebrated cancer survivors and honored belated loved ones. LLS works year-round to help cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin’s lymphoma & myeloma, and improve the quality of life of patients and their families.
